“When my husband died in 2008, I had N25,000 (Twenty-five thousand Naira only). I joined Rock of Ages Empowerment Foundation (RAEF) in 2013. I was taught catering. In 2016 the founder empowered me with a big frying pan and spoon. I borrowed N60,000 from a Micro-Finance Bank and started a restaurant and also baking and catering. I can now make several soups and even different types of food. I have 3 children and I use this business to train my children. I don’t even pay house rent anymore because I have my own house now.”
